Terms of Service

Fliko is an automated video editing service you use by sending media and instructions through a messaging interface. We generate edited media, captions, and audio selections in response. Output is produced automatically and may contain errors; review it before publishing.

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA and UK) and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

You keep all rights in the media you upload and in the edited output we return to you. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, transcode, and transmit your content solely to provide the service and support. That licence ends when the content is deleted.

You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including any music, footage, or likenesses it contains.

You may not use Fliko to:

• Upload content you do not have the rights to use.
• Create sexual content involving minors, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
• Produce material that harasses, defames, or incites violence against a person or group.
• Impersonate a real person in a way intended to deceive, or fabricate events presented as real.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or overload the service, or bypass usage limits.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, and remove content, with notice where practical.

Music and stock assets supplied through Fliko are licensed to you for use in the edits produced by the service. You may not extract, resell, or redistribute them separately. Some tracks carry platform-specific restrictions noted in the app.

• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the paid period.
• Prices exclude VAT and other applicable taxes unless stated. We will give at least 30 days’ notice before a price change affecting your renewal.
• Statutory refund and cooling-off rights are unaffected. Outside those, fees already paid are non-refundable.
• Beta pricing shown on this site is indicative and may change.

Unlimited plans are subject to fair use intended to prevent automated bulk processing and resale. If your usage is materially outside normal individual or team use, we will contact you before applying any limit.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid feature you rely on, we will provide notice and a pro-rata refund for the unused period.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that edits will meet your creative expectations or that captions will be error-free.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, or data.

You may close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, or where required by law. On termination we delete your content in line with the Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms. Material changes take effect 30 days after we notify you, unless a change is required sooner by law. Continuing to use Fliko after that date means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
